Mandy Sherman is a vegan baker who runs Pig Out! Bakery in Worcester, Massachusetts. You can find her delicious treats like pop tarts and croissants in the Worcester coffee shop, New Tradition Company, and you can also find her at various pop-ups around the area. I am a Cancer Sun and Rising, Capricorn Moon!

How do you feel your signs have an influence over your work?
There are so many ways that I believe my signs have influence over the work that I do! As a baker, I love to feed people. As a Cancer, I am nurturing and care for others and if you come into my home (or my kitchen) I am going to ask if you're hungry and I will offer you baked goods! As far as the Capricorn in me, I often refer to myself as a workaholic which is pretty spot on with having Capricorn in my chart. I am self motivated, ambitious, and when I set my mind on something I work hard to achieve it.

Tell us about a favorite scent memory.
There's something about the smell of the hot pavement right after a rainstorm on a summer day. It really brings me back to my childhood and it always sparks good memories for me.

What color are you really vibing with lately?
Emerald Green! It's bold and vibrant, but relaxing and grounding.

What’s something interesting that you’ve read, watched, or listened to recently?
I've been all about true crime lately! Podcasts, documentaries, you name it! I've also recently uncovered that I'm a little bit of a Swiftie haha.

Do you have any magical rituals or special ways you like to unwind in your space?
Like a true Cancer, home is my peaceful place! There's nothing I look forward to more than coming home after a long day, taking a shower, doing my skincare routine, and watching some trash tv before bed!

What’s something exciting you’re looking forward to this year?
I have a lot of exciting things to look forward to in the near future! I just signed the lease to a new apartment. I am excited for what this new chapter has in store for me and also to turn my new home into a cozy space. I also have a couple of pop ups planned over the next few months that I'm excited about. I used to do pop ups more regularly, but took a break for a while and I'm excited to be getting back into it!
